Styling Tips #3 | The Black Dress

Everyone always goes on about how you need 'the perfect black dress'. Well how about, you need 'the perfect black dress to go with all of your pretty bralettes?'. I think think that is much more important! This dress is a must have, as it shows off just enough bralette detail, without your whole boob being on show (not always appropriate unfortunately). The floaty midi/maxi style (depending on how tall you are - maxi on me being 5'1) makes it perfect for the day or the evening. Simply switch boots for heels to take you from day to night. Pair with a black lacy bralette like our Lucie II, or a strappy number (the Rachael is a firm fave) if you're feeling more daring. Wear the same dress weekly with a different bralette for a completely different look. The perfect autumn staple.

Styling Tips #2 | Pretty In Blue

Our second styling post is featuring our newly released 'ADRIANA' Bralette. This bralette is made from the most beautiful jewel toned blue eyelash lace, with higher cut cups than our other lace bralettes. The black accents perfectly compliment the lace, making it wearable for every day.

We have paired it with some staple, laid back pieces - my trusty leather jacket, a comfy pair of jeans and a slouchy tank (a running theme for our outfits!). This outfit is perfect for any weather, simply ditch the jacket if it gets too hot.

Our Faves #1 | The Low Cut Tee

From top left, clockwise - Daftbird, H&M, Urban Outfitters, One Teaspoon(different colour linked).

The low cut tee has become a bit of a staple around here, along with the low cut tank, and well, the low cut anything. We get so many questions regarding where our tanks and tees are from whenever we post our outfit deets on instagram, and so we thought why not answer you all in one handy post! So here are our favourite brands for those low cut, laid back styles to pair with your Oh So Lovely Intimates Bralettes.

1. Daftbird - If you don't already know of the brand, you'll know of their products. Their images are seen circling around instagram and tumblr, and for good reason. They are one of the first brands to produce the perfect low cut, slouchy tee. We have a handful, and you'l often see these in our upcoming Bralette Deets posts as they show off the bralettes perfectly, whilst still covering you up elsewhere to make sure the outfit remains super casual. Super great quality, you'll need one of their tees in your collection.

2. H&M - H&M are great when it comes to basics. Everything is so affordable, and the quality is still great for most of their pieces. We have a couple of their throw on vests and dresses as seen on our Instagram. Lightweight and perfect for summer, and cheap enough that you don't mind needing to replace them sooner.

3. One Teaspoon - Our collection of One Teaspoon basics is smaller than the rest, however the pieces we do have are staples. Good quality pieces with flattering, timeless cuts. Check out their 'French Basics' section. They also have a couple long sleeve options should you require something more covering - something we will need here in the UK when it gets to winter!

4. Urban Outfitters - Urban outfitters is a great place to visit to basics, or alternatively, their website is so easy to shop. We love the range of styles they stock, and everything is great quality, and a great price point too.

Places such as Free People and Zara are also great for basics, should you want some more options. Just look out for tees with low necklines, and if necessary - size up and stretch it out!

Styling Tips #1 | In Love With Suede

Our first Styling Tips post is this beautiful summer outfit, featuring our popular 'EVA' Bralette. This bralette is perfect for everyday wear - The lace is so soft and the shape so comfortable. The added front straps make it more than just a simple lace bralette, making it perfect for layering under low cut tees.

We have paired the Eva bralette with a few of our current style staples - a lightweight suede jacket, distressed denim shorts and a slouchy tank. As always, we finished off with a few dainty jewels. If you're on a budget, you'll be happy to know that this outfit is mostly affordable. The jacket is just £40 from Missguided, and the Eva bralette is one of our more affordable options at £29. Theres only a few left of the Eva in black, so get one before its gone for good!
